Owner / Veterinarian
Dr. Amanda Flagg is the owner and lead veterinarian of Veterinary Urgent Care of New Hampshire. She fulfilled her longtime dream of practice ownership when she opened the clinic in January 2024, creating a trusted, accessible urgent-care resource for pets and their families.
As a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Flagg is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality medical care when pets need it most. Her vision for the practice centers on prompt, effective treatment, clear communication, and a supportive environment for both clients and staff.
Dr. Flagg’s commitment to her patients and her community drives every aspect of the hospital’s mission, from advanced medical care to the culture of kindness and collaboration she fosters within the team. Outside the clinic, Dr. Flagg enjoys a full and lively home shared with her husband, her children, and the family’s beloved cats and dog. Her dedication to animals extends beyond her profession and is woven into every part of her life.

Megan Witt, CVT
Practice Manager / Head Veterinary Technician
Megan is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and serves as the Practice Manager and Head Technician at our veterinary practice. With over 20 years of clinical experience, she specializes in anesthesia, analgesia, and emergency medicine, bringing advanced technical skill and deep compassion to every patient she cares for.
Known for her steady leadership and commitment to excellence, Megan plays a key role in shaping the hospital’s culture and supporting the medical team. She is dedicated to staff development, client communication, and ensuring that every patient receives thoughtful, high-quality care.
Outside the clinic, Megan shares her life with a variety of animals—including large animals, small animals, and a bird—reflecting her lifelong connection to the well-being of all species. Her passion for veterinary medicine is rooted both in her professional expertise and her personal devotion to the animals she calls family.

Melina jalette, CVT
Melina is a Certified Veterinary Technician from Rhode Island and a graduate of New England Institute of Technology. She has a background in veterinary neurology, where she developed a strong attention to detail and a deep appreciation for patient care. Melina is passionate about building trust with both her patients and their owners, and takes pride in providing compassionate, high-quality care. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, cats, and horses, reflecting her lifelong dedication to animals.

Veterinary Assistant
Phyllis is a veteran veterinary technician with 25 years of experience, specializing in emergency medicine. Her career has taken her from the fast-paced emergency clinics of Portland, Oregon, to her current work in New Hampshire, giving her a broad perspective on urgent care across diverse regions and patient populations. Known for her sharp clinical skills, quick thinking, and no-nonsense approach during critical cases, she is deeply committed to providing high-quality care when it matters most. Phyllis’s dedication to animal welfare and her decades of hands-on experience continue to make a meaningful impact on the pets and communities she serves.
Molly
Veterinary Assistant
Molly is a veterinary technician local to the Tamworth area with one year of experience in general practice veterinary medicine. She enjoys helping pets and their families feel comfortable and well cared for during every visit. Outside of work, Molly spends her time with her energetic two-year-old German Shepherd, Navalie, who inspires her love for animals every day.

Veterinary Assistant / Receptionist
Emily is a compassionate receptionist and veterinary assistant who has been part of the VUCONH team for one year. She is dedicated to helping pets and their owners feel safe and supported during their visit. Originally from Connecticut, Emily moved to New Hampshire for college and has since built a rewarding career working hands-on with animals. At home, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Duke and Arlo, and her cat, Panda.
Victoria
Veterinary Assistant / Receptionist
Originally from Georgia, Victoria relocated to New Hampshire and has been working in veterinary medicine for just over a year. She is passionate about providing compassionate care to every patient and supporting the people who love them. At home, she is a proud dog mom to Finley.
Cara
Veterinary Assistant / Receptionist
Cara earned her Bachelor’s in Zoology from UNH and has been part of the veterinary world since 1998. She has worn many hats—veterinary assistant, customer service specialist, and manager—and loved every part of helping pets and their people. At home, she is happily outnumbered by her cats Rey, Kylo, and Faye, who inspire her love for animals every day.
